Geeta (Ge) and Riya (Ri) are two best friends. They always fight over small things but they also know how to fix things between them. And they also do all the crazy kinds of stuff that best friends normally do. And trust me those two are a great team together.
It's the end of October,
Slowly you will feel coldness in the air as it announces the arrival of winter.
And guess what the next month is Geeta's birthday. This line filled the excitement in heart of Riya as she was planning to do something awesome and special for her best friend's birthday.
So Riya was planning to give something extraordinary to her but she couldn't figure out what could that be. Minutes passed, hours passed, and days passed but she is still in the confusion about what to give. But one day after passing a store she found something that brought a different kind of light in her eyes.
She brought that thing, packed it, and started waiting for Geeta's birthday. Her birthday was not too far but something terrible happened... So they had a common friend(enemy) named, Nisha. She decided to expose every secret to Ge's father as a rivalry between these two best friends.
As planned Nisha told everything about Geeta to her father. And her father was furious about that but deep down he knows that her daughter can never do these things but he still waits for the confession. That day in the evening Geeta has planned to meet Riya but her father told her not to go and also to hand her phone to him. As asked Geeta didn't go and Riya waited for her hours standing at the door.
This really hurts her. Riya was so angry that after reaching home she rip off the wrapped box(gift) and throw the box tossing it in the air to a corner of her room. For the next several days Riya couldn't find Geeta anywhere. After a few days of failing on finding her, she gives up. Now here comes the time of Diwali and Chatth. In the meantime, their school has given them a project that they have to complete.
As everyone becomes very busy and so as Riya for the preparation of these festivals. One day Geeta called her out of nowhere. When Riya saw the name flashing on the screen she was shocked but there is a place in her heart that was kinda happy. She picked up the call and after hearing Geeta's voice after so long tears roll down her cute little cheeks. Then they planned on meeting in a cafe for further talk. But the day was long and tiring enough for Riya and as a result, she forgets about the meeting. At the last moment when she remembered she ran like a ghost is hunting her.
She reached the place but she saw Geeta with marks on her hand, some minor cuts also. But as she was about to enter Riya's mother called her asking her to return immediately as it was an emergency. Her mother was so tensed that this left Riya with two choices. Either to sit here with her best friend and discuss resolving their fight or run for home. She chooses the second option and in a flash, Riya just goes handover the blueprint of the project and leaves without saying a word. This broke Geeta into pieces.
Geeta got really pissed off. Riya is always busy with the festival work. Those people who can't live without talking one day are now hadn't shared their views with each other. One day they both found each other walking down a road.
Riya was ready to apologize for her behavior but Geeta was really broken from deep down. So she said to leave her alone and to never talk to her... Things are slowly changing into arguments. Geeta was really hurt that her best friend can't see her pain and even after seeing that she ignores it whereas Riya was angry because she can't believe her best friend saying all this to her after spending so many years knowing each other. After the fight ended they both left and decided to break their bond.
Now it's time for Geeta's birthday. Riya decided to give her the gift that she bought for her. But after that, she forces herself to never see Geeta's face again. It's Geeta's birthday everyone wished her, and everyone hangs out with her, party but Geeta's eyes are in a different dimension trying to find Riya. She just stored a little hope that even if they are hurt or angry with each other Riya will make it to her birthday
It's late past 9. Geeta's eyes are still wandering outside the door to get even the gaze of Riya but neither Riya showed up nor her gift. She just received a text saying Happy birthday. After reading that tears automatically roll down her cheeks. Geeta cried all night and the little hope that she kept in her heart is now burnt into ashes. now she has every reason to end their beautiful bond.
Will their beautiful bond will be ended? Can a small misunderstanding end a long, powerful bond of friendship? Let's see what the future hold for both of them

Now Ge was totally broken down. Every night her pillow was the only one who wipe her tears and is there for her on her dark and lonely nights. A few days later she had to visit her grandmother's house but her mental trauma hasn't left her side yet.She is trying to recover from her trauma but she just can't stop thinking about everything. One day around 7-8 o'clock her trauma rises so high that she blackouts and instantly she stopped breathing. She cried out loud that she can't breathe. All the people in the house heard her voice and rushed to her, then everyone there lifted her from the floor and rushed her to the hospital.
After examining her for quite a few hours the doc said, "She is fine! She just needs to rest a bit, then she will be good to go!"This gives relief to everyone but this incident has highlighted the fact that her separation from Ri has affected her life to this extent and it's just getting worst and worse day after day.
She was there in the hospital for one day and then was discharged shortly after. Ri heard about this incident so she rushed to contact Ge but just about she held the phone to call suddenly all the past memories flood back of how they are separated. That stopped her and she put the phone down. Ri was also crying inside but she was also bound by fate and had lost all her courage to even contact her best friend.
After spending a month at her grandmother's house and being recovered from the incident Ge returned back to her house. When Ri heard that she has returned to her house and also she is fine. She went to the temple with her heart filled with happiness. She closed her eyes and prayed for Ge's safety.
Now 1 week has passed since Ge's arrival at her house. She is still depressed about everything that happened between her and Ri and now she just wishes to end this distance between them. She decided that she will call Ri and settle this matter once and for all. She held the phone, to find her number and just when she tried to press the call button. A feeling crossed her mind that held her like someone has grabbed her from behind and she felt like all her body's energy is just vanished. This feeling was none other than fear that is trying to conquer her and trying to engulf her in depression and darkness.
She knows that this is hard but she holds her ground. And without second thoughts she tapped the call button. The call started to connect. Ri was studying at that time and then the phone rang. She gets up from the study table and reached for her phone. It was Ge's number flashing on her screen. She was having second thoughts about it but she picked up the call.
Geeta started the call while saying," Kamini! Agar mei call na karu to kya tu bhi nhi karegi"
Meaning - Bastard! If I don't call you then will you also not call me.
And they cuss each other for an hour and a half. And all their hatred and all their fear have been washed down as they go on talking. And the next day they meet each other at the park and started their cussing again (Two best friends can cuss each other in hell also) then they go to the cafe shared lunch and then headed to their home but this time they had a smile on their face and no tears in their eyes. And the bond between them just grows stronger.
Its a blend of emotions nd feelings 💖
